Wow! What an exciting week! We have been lucky enough to have Ophelia and her two sons, Oakley and Shaun Jr, staying with us. This was made possible by the Loan a Lamb scheme organised through the South of England Agricultural Society. All classes have had 2 1-hour sessions, with the ewe and her lambs, and in addition to this have completed learning in the classroom surrounding sheep and farming. Work has included: sheep research, fact files, posters and arts and crafts. We have also regularly been sending questions to Farmer Chris (the owner of our sheep) who has patiently answered all of our questions, providing lots of extra information. We have all loved having our visiting sheep! We have learnt loads and will miss them next week
