Toucans - Roman Day

This week, Toucans had an exciting Roman Day filled with activities! Students took part in a scavenger hunt, searching for Roman gods hidden around the school. They also got creative, designing mosaics and crafting their very own Roman shields. The children really enjoyed playing a Roman version of chess, called rota. It became very competitive in the classroom, and some fantastic tactics were developed. It was lovely to see Toucans’ enthusiasm for learning shine throughout the day.
