This week, Toucans had an exciting Roman Day filled with activities! Students took part in a scavenger hunt, searching for Roman gods hidden around the school. They also got creative, designing mosaics and crafting their very own Roman shields. The children really enjoyed playing a Roman version of chess, called rota. It became very competitive in the classroom, and some fantastic tactics were developed.
